I caught the last second of 2008. My camera time must be slightly off. :-)OK, I know it's been more than a month since I blogged and you all are on the edge of your seat dying to know what we've been doing, but it wrestling season. And you know what that means. Busy mommy. Trying to shop, decorate, keep up with the house, laundry, homework, work plus wrestling tournaments and practice is a pain in the bottom.
Tatiana was here for about 3 weeks and it was nice having her around. I had two 5 day weekends over the holidays and that was awesome. Of course I was sick in bed for 3 of the last 5 days, but better to be sick in bed, than sick at work. Look on the bright side, at least I was ok for Christmas and I got to watch Days of Our Lives, and some Jon and Kate plus 8 marathon, LOL!
I should make a new years resolution to not watch so much TV, but I love TV. I'm usually watching TV while doing other things so I don't REALLY get to WATCH more like pass by watch some and hear most while picking up things on the floor, making lunches, folding clothes, sweeping the kitchen, supervising arguments, ect...
Anyway, we went to my Uncle's house for Christmas Eve with some of my Mom's brothers. And went to my mom's house on Christmas Day. I wanted to take the kid's to thier dad's house on Christmas Day but they didn't want to go at all, at all so I just let them be and didn't force the issue. I feel sad that they don't have a good relationship with him. Sad for them, not him. ;-) I wish he could be the person that they need him to be.
Ricky has placed 1st and Julia has placed 5th at all of our C.A.G.W.A. tournaments (4) so far this season. Julia is hoping that she can place top 3 at least once this season. We'll see, maybe if she works harder at practice. At least she's working harder at practice this year than last year and is practicing one more day a week.
